The MFD10 capacitor tester can reliably test all capacitors from 0.01 MFD to 10,000 MFD. This includes all types of start and run capacitors used in the refrigeration and air conditioning industries. The MFD10 is designed to meet all industrial specifications and service requirements. Displays MFD values from 0.01 to 10,000 MFD on all run, start and electrolytic capacitors. Range: 0.01 to 10,000 mF, accuracy: +/- 5 percent, test clip storage within case, alligator clips to capacitor terminals. LED Display, one button operation, operates on one 9v battery (not included). Soft carrying case included. Specialty instrument selection guide: measurement/function - capacitance. Application includes: verification of start and run capacitors, checks for open and short capacitors, identify unmarked capacitors, confirms weak capacitors and use as continuity tester.
